Lawrence D. Keys, 36, 2819 W. Larchmont, the brother of comedian actor Richard F. Pryor, died Friday at St. Francis Hospital.

Born Oct. 29, 1946, in Peoria, he was a son of LeRoy L. Pryor and Muriel Keys. He married Jacqueline Vanler June 23, 1978, in Peoria.

Surviving are his wife; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Ivy Lee Edwards of Peoria; one daughter, Linda; one son, Anthony; four sisters, Rita Edwards, Iva Edwards, Sharon Wilson and Barbara Jean Mayfield, all of Peoria; six brothers, Ivy of Florida, James and Timothy, of Peoria, Jerry with the U.S. Army in Germany, Pryor of California, and William Wiley of Chicago; and his grandmother, Blanche Keys Lee of El Paso.

One daughter, one brother and his father preceded him in death.

He was employed 10 years at Central Illinois Light Co. as a pipefitter and was a Vietnam War veteran.
