Born June 18, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, to Charles Butler and Elizabeth Vanleer, she married Lawrence Keys on June 23, 1978, in Peoria. He died Sept. 2, 1983, in Peoria. Her grandparents preceded her in death.
Surviving are her father of Toledo; her mother of Toledo; one son, Anthony D. Vanleer of Jacksonville; three brothers, Edward E. Vanleer of Toledo, Louis Vanleer of Alameda, Calif., and Avery Smaw-Vanleer of Jacksonville; and one sister, Mary Larkett of Toledo.
She was a lab technician at Baptist Medical Center.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
