Jimmie (Montgomery) Ingram, 99 years, was born in Oklahoma to Virgil Berry and Susan Ellen (Barnett) MONTGOMERY. She was one of six daughters, and two sons, to live to adulthood, one bro., Burl, having d. at age 17yrs; she the last surviving sibling.
She was married to Jess W. INGRAM, in the 1930's. They had two sons, Bobby Gene and John Berry Ingram. The marriage lasted eighteen years and ended in divorce. She worked as a supper club waitress and provided for herself and her sons. Bobby preceded her in death in 1996.
She lived in Porterville for many years, and and belonged to the Porterville Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, John and wife, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews to lament her passing.

Jimmie Bonnie Ingram (nee Montgomery) was born November 20, 1917 in Non, OK and passed away January 12,2017 in Bakersfield at the age of 99. She was preceded in death by her son Bobby Gene Ingram of Porterville. She is survived by her son John Ingram of Bakersfield; granddaughter Camille Thompson, her husband Robert and their two sons, Anthony and Mitchell Thompson, all of Porterville; grandson Erik West, wife Julie and their children Britnee and Bailey, all of Texas; grandson Bobby Ingram of Oregon. She was laid to rest January 19, 2017 in Porterville. A wake to follow at a later date.
