Shirley O Chapman

November 8th, 2013 Ripton Shirley O. Chapman, 77, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at Helen Porter Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury. She was born May 4, 1936 in Poughkeepsie, NY the daughter of Rex and Vera (Manning) Barrows. She worked as a secretary for Addison County Community Action in Middlebury and retired in 1999. Her hobbies were: playing bingo, fishing and listening and feeding humming birds. Shirley is survived by six children: Michael Chapman, Mary Chapman, Peggy Chapman, Maddie and Joe Martell, Michelle and Craig Provencher and Mark Chapman; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Special thanks to Sue, Lillian and Dr. Allan Curtiss and Staff. A Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
