Ann married Walden Lowell "Wally" Schnoor on Oct. 25, 1951 at St. Joseph's rectory in Pierce, Nebraska. They are the parents of Richard, Michael, Maynard, Neil, Donna Rae, Dianne & Sharon.

Mass of Christian Burial for Ann M. Schnoor, 88, of Norfolk will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Norfolk. Celebrant will be Father Matt Niggemeyer.

Interment will be at the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Norfolk.

Visitation will be held 4-7:00 p.m., Monday at Stonacek Funeral Chapel with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:00 pm, following the visitation.

Ann passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Norfolk Golden Living Center.

The daughter of Ignats and Johanna (Hoffmann) Zach was born July 22, 1928, in Pierce.

She attended St. Joseph's Parochial School in Pierce to eighth grade.

Ann lost her mother when she was 18 years old in 1946. She stayed at home with her father and brothers until she got married.

She married Walden Schnoor on Oct. 25, 1951, at St. Joseph's Rectory in Pierce.

They moved to Norfolk in 1958.

She started working for Ed Hale in the dry cleaning business in April of 1964. They moved back to Pierce in 1973. She worked at various dry cleaning and laundromats and also owned and operated Wally's Bakery in Pierce for 20 years from 1970 to 1990. She retired in 1991.

They moved back to Norfolk in 1998 to Odd Fellow Rebakkah Manor.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Norfolk and its altar society.

She was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierce.

Survivors are three daughters, Donna Rae and spouse Dean Hollmann of Falling Waters, W.Va., Dianne and spouse Randy Hetrick of Pierce and Sharon Brand of Omaha; four sons, Richard and spouse Sharon Schnoor of Norfolk, Michael and spouse Verdie Schnoor of Kansas City, Mo., Maynard Schnoor of Justin, Texas, Neal and spouse Teresa Schnoor of Kearney; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bernard and spouse Jeanne Zach Of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters-in-law Hilde Zach of Pierce and Lucerne Zach of Omaha, as well as with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ignats and Johanna; spouse Walden in 2012; two sisters, Eleanor Thomas and Lucy Heller; seven brothers, Florents, Henry, Wilbert, Joseph, Mark, Raymond and Gerald; and a son-in-law, Bob Brand.

Music will be provided by organist Mary Bruckner and the Bound For Glory Choir.

Casketbearers will be Jared Hetrick, Nicholas Hetrick, Justin Schnoor, Joseph Schnoor, Adam Schnoor, Zachary Schnoor, Jackson Schnoor and Graham Schnoor. Honorary casketbearers will be Katrina Selby, Yavanna Harbal, Johanna Barnes, Sarah Hetrick, Jessica Cuffe, Bridget Peckinpaugh, Brittany Schnoor, Lindsey Miller, Ashley Cobb, Kristin Schnoor and Rachel Schnoor.
