GLENN FERRY — Sarah E. Moore, 85, of Glenns Ferry, died Friday in a Mountain Home nursing home. Born on Nov. 28, 1896, in Cumberland, Wyo., she moved to Hagerman in 1917. She married Clarence L. Moore on June 22, 1921, on the Owsley bridge near Hagerman during, dedication ceremonies for the bridge. They moved to Glenns Ferry in 1924. Mr. Moore died in 1973. She was a member of the Mormon Church and the Victory Chapter 60 Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are: a daughter, Rebecca Lounsbury of Featherville; two sons, Vern Moore of Boise and Paul Moore of Glenns Ferry; a sister, Julie McPhie of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in the Mormon Church at Glenns Ferry by Bishop Douglas Mills. Burial will be in the Glenn Rest Cemetery at Glenns Ferry under direction of the Humpherys Funeral Home of Mountain Home.
