DIAMONDVILLE, WYO. Jesse Y. Peterson, 94, of Diamondville died Saturday at the McKay Hospital following a stroke.
He was born Nov. 10, 1873, in Coalville, the son of George Henry and Mary Ann Robinson Peterson.

He was married to Martha Purdy on June 18, 1913, in the Salt Lake Temple.

He was a retired engineer and master mechanic for the Diamond Coal and Coke Co. He was a member of the LDS Church and a former bishop of teh Diamondville Ward.

Surviving are his widow, of Diamondville, three sons and two daughters, Kendall R. Peterson, and Mrs. Lorenzo (Mary) Grouthee, both of Kemmerer, Wyo.; John C. Peterson, and Mrs. Joyce Peterson, both og Ogden; Dean Peterson, Diamondville; 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one half-sister, Mrs. Julia McPhie, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held in Kemmerer with interment in the Diamondville Cemetery.
