Mrs. Jacob A. Wolf
Mrs. Sarah F. Wolf, 89, of 55 Spring Road, Carlisle, widow of Jacob Addison Wolf, died Friday morning at Claremont Nursing Home, RD1 Carlisle.
She was born Sept. 6, 1885 in Spring Township, Perry County, a daughter of the late George Washington and Mary Ellen Clouser Bear.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. John (Emma) McClintock, RD1 Shermans Dale; Mrs. Mary M. Reisinger, 118 N. Hanover St., Carlisle; Mrs. Alice I. Lichty, Lydia Baird Home; Mrs. Mildred Morrison, RD2 Carlisle; Mrs. Priscilla A. Romberger, 483 S. Spring Garden St., Carlisle; and Mrs. W. Carl (Sarah) Phelebaum, RD1 Carlisle; two sons, George J. Wolf, RD1 Shermans Dale, and Paul E. Wolf, Fairbanks, Alaska; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson.
The funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the G. Book Roth Funeral Home, Walnut Bottom Road at Belvedere St. The Rev. Clarence L. Earnst, pastor, Young's United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Old Graveyard. There will be no viewing.
