She was born on June 3, 1873, a daughter of the late George Washington and Mary Clouser Bear. She was a member of Reiber's Church, Perry County.
She is survived by two sons, Eber E., of Franklin, Ind., and Alfred V., of Dillsburg; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Knoll, Akron, Pa.; Mrs. Thomas N. Kuhn, Carlisle R.D. 1 and Mrs. Harry Long, Shermansdale; 13 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Young's Evangelical United Brethren Church, Shermansdale, with the Rev. John H. Witmer officiating. Burial in the adjoining cemetery. Friends may call this evening at the funeral home at 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, and Sunday afternoon from 1:30 until 2 o'clock at the church.
