Born in Havice Valley, Pa. to Herbert and Amanda Romig Wagner, Rachael, along with her husband Joseph, had been an original Levittown owner.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Thomas A. Edison State College in Trenton, N.J. and Educational Testing Services in Princeton, N.J.
She was very active in her church in different capacities, first at Oxford Valley Chapel, followed by First Baptist Church of Bristol, and finally at the Haines Road Baptist Church.
She loved bowling, gardening and camping, especially at French Creek, Pa. with her loving husband. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 68 years, Joseph, and their sons, Richard, Gary, and John Sauers and his wife, Barbara and their son, Timothy. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Gloria Avery and Minnie Wagner, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received at the James O. Bradley Funeral Home, 260 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Michael Murray will be conducted at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem.
