married about 1677, Rebecca Whaples. They located about the centre of
Newington, but at what date is now unknown ; he seems to have a tax
list there in 1 693, in the town of Wethersfield, (of which Newington was
a parish, and so remains up to this date, 1871.)∼Married Rebecca.
