The daughter of George and Amy E. Parker Ellis, she was born in Missouri, Oct 3, 1880. She was married to William Adams, who preceded her in death, Sept 23. 1950. A son Charles and an infant daughter also preceded her.
Four children survive, Mrs. Julia Elfstrom, Centerville, Mrs. Dorothy Hart, Des Moines, Robert Adams, Newton, William Adams, Jr. Joplin Mo; grandchildren and 11 great grand children.
Mrs. Adams was the last of her family. She was a member of the United Methodist church, golden Links Sunday School Class, Eastern Star, White Shrine and Daughters of Union Veterans. She has been a worthy high priestess of White Shrine and was the last surviving member of the original Golden Links class.
Funeral services Friday at 10:30 AM from the United Methodist Church with rev. Cecil Latta Officiating.
