Mattie Vos, 92, of Hospers died Saturday in Millie's Rest Home in Sutherland.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the First Reformed Church in Hospers. The Rev. Henry Vermeer and the Rev. Carl De Jong officiated. Burial was in the Newkirk Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center.
Mrs. Vos, the former Mattie Mouw, was born April 9, 1892, at Boyden. She married Peter Vos Feb. 8, 1921, at Sheldon. They lived at Sibley and moved to Sheldon in 1926. They later moved to Hospers. He died in 1953.
She entered the rest home at Sutherland in 1976.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Arie G, (Bernice) Roos of Hospers; one sister, Mrs. Ella Menning of George; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
