Peter Vos, who had been ailing in health for the past year, died Monday morning at 11 o'clock at the age of 72 years.
Mr. Vos left the farm about 14 years ago, he and his wife moving into town, at that time.
He leaves his wife, four sons and three daughters, to mourn his death. The children are as follows: John of Sheldon; Martin, Sibley; Harry, Newkirk; Peter Jr., of Sibley; Mrs. Wm. Kastine, Mrs. Neal Boterhoek and Mrs. Clarence Ottens, the two former of Hospers and the last mentioned living at Sibley. He also leaves a host of friends in this community to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the home and at 2 o'clock from the Presbyterian church. Rev. R. B. Budd officiating. Burial was made at the cemetery northwest of town.
