Mrs. Frank Cook Taken by Death. Mrs. Blanche Shaner Cook, wife of Frank C. Cook, 128 South First Street, died Friday evening (May 15, 1942) following a long illness. Born in Clarion Pa, she had been a resident of Olean for fifty years.
Surviving, in addition to the husband, are a daughter Mrs. A.W. Montague of Columbus, Ohio, and two grandchildren, Thomas and Dorothy Montague, four sisters, Mrs. Jennie Dellinger of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. W.C Hogan and Mrs. Walter Kaiser of Bradford, and Mrs. Frank Webster of Painted Post; and three brothers, Frank Shaner of Houston, Tex., Clifford Shaner of New Kensington, Pa., and Clarence Shaner of Los Angeles, Calif.
Funeral services will be conducted at the home Monday morning at eight-thirty o'clock and at nine o'clock at St. Marys of the Angels Church. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
