He was born July 23, 1921 in Scott, Arkansas to Elmer and Addie Purnell Hobby.
He was a longtime member of the Church of Christ and attended Park Hill Christian Church in North Little Rock. He served in the United States Army during World War II and is a 32nd degree Mason.
E.H. was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Wilda Hobby; his parents; siblings, Roy and Troy Hobby, Buddy Hobby, Liz Atwood and Maggie Manire.
He is survived by his brother, Richard B. Hobby; two daughters, Neila Hobby, June (Everett) Skinner; two grandchildren, Adam (Betsy) Skinner and Hollie (Stacy) Black; three special great-grandsons, Cody Skinner, Bradley Black and Dylan Skinner and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 24th at the funeral home.
Burial in Edgewood Memorial Park.
