MRS. JAMES WADE TAKEN BY DEATH
One of County's Oldest Citizens Passes Away
Mrs. James Willis Wade, 90, one of Boyle County's oldest and most loved citizens, died at her home near Mitchellsburg at 4:30 p.m. Monday after an illness of two weeks.
Mrs. Wade was the widow of J.W. (Uncle Jim) Wade, who died 20 years ago.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. H.L. Webb, Danville, and Miss Sallie B. Wade, Mitchellsburg; two grandsons, Garnett L. Wade, Sr., Perryville, and James W. Wade, Detroit, and one great grandson, Garnett L. Wade, Jr., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held at the residence at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Alva H. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery, Perryville.

Funeral of Mrs. Wade Held at Mitchellsburg
Funeral services for Mrs. James Willis Wade, 90 years old, who died at her home near Mitchellsburg Monday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, were held at the residence this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. Alva H. Williams officiating. Interment took place in Hill Crest cemetery at Perryville.
Mrs. Wade was the widow of J.W. Wade (Uncle Jim, as he was called by nearly everyone who knew him), who died twenty years ago. She was well known and highly respected and although she lived to a great old age she will be missed by hundreds of friends and relatives. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. HL Webb, of Danville, and Miss Sallie B. Wade of Mitchellsburg; one son, Mr. A.W. Wade, of Mitchellsburg; two grandsons, Mrs. Garnett L. Wade, Sr. of Perryville, and James W. Wade, of Detroit; one great grandson, Garnett L. Wade, Jr. of Perryville, and several nieces and nephews.
