Brodie Bourne, 66, of 221 Bridgewater St., died Tuesday at the Fredericksburg Nursing Home.
A retired employee of G. H. Morrison Feed Store, he is survived by his wife, Lola K. Bourne; two brothers, Sidney and Elliott Bourne, both of Fredericksburg; two half-sisters, Mary Williams of Spotsylvania and Grace Poates of Fredericksburg; a half-brother, Charles Bourne of Stafford; a stepson, Robert D. Sullivan of Falmouth, four step-daughters, Marian Silver of Stafford, Pearl Davitt of Richmond; Eugie Riggins of Washington and Mary Lanin of Philadelphia, PA, and an adopted son, Riley Bourne of Fredericksburg.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Wheeler & Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. J. Howard Cates officiating. Interment will be in the family cemetery on Truslow Road.
