Born February 25, 1884, at Elk Creek, Tennessee was the daughter of Harve Curry and his first wife, Louisa VanNatter. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mont Farley, and was survived by her second husband Wayne Parsley.

Mrs. Tennessee Curry Parsley, 79, of Elk Creek, died unexpectedly Thursday evening at her home. Born February 25, 1894 at Elk Creek, she was the daughter of the late Harve and Louisa VanNatter Curry. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mont Farley, and is survived by her second husband, Wayne Parsley. She was a member of the Elk Creek Community Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Rev. Charles Farley, Lloyd Farley, and Arvil Parsley; four daughters, Mrs. Dot Workman, Mrs. Trulie Brewster, and Mrs. Louise Browning, and Mrs. Gladys Justice; 44 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by five brothers, Billy, Rush, Lee, Garnet, and Albert Curry; five sisters, Mrs. Vicie Hunt, Mrs. Effie Tiller, Mrs. Sarah Maynard, Mrs. Edith Kirk, and Mrs. Nancy Hatfield.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday from the Elk Creek Church of God. Burial will follow in the Curry-Farley Cemetery at Elk Creek.
