Vicie D. Hunt, 76, of Elk Creek, died this morning in Williamson Appalachian Regional Hospital after a brief illness. She was born at Delbarton on October 26, 1905, the daughter of the late Louisa Vannatter Curry. Her husband Joe Hunt survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons; five daughters; one brother; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Chafin funeral home with the Rev. W. H. Compton and the Rev. C. W. Farley officiating. Burial followed in the Curry-Farley Cemetery on Elk Creek.
