John Lauterbach, of Springfield, owner of Lauterbach's market, died yesterday in Memorial hospital where he entered April 21. He was 85 years old.

Mr. Lauterbach was born May 2, 1870 [sic], a son of John L. and Margaret Young Lauterbach, and had operated the grocery for 47 years.

Surviving are a brother, Clarence L.; a sister, Miss Katherine, both of Springfield.
