LORENZO D. HARVEY
UNKNOWN SON OF ROBERT AND HENRIETTA WARD HARVEY

As of 2016 not too much information is known regarding Lorenzo D. Harvey.

His middle name might of been Dow, but that is unconfirmed at this time. The Harvey family while living in Ross county, Ohio were known to attend the Brown Church. Research tells of a Lorenzo Dow as one of the early Ministers. It is known that a number of children were named after him.

What is known is that he was born to Robert and Henrietta (Ward) Harvey. Family members give a birth date as being in the year of 1804. The Harvey family was living in Ross County, Ohio at that time so this gives his birth place.

No marriage records have been located in either Ross County, Ohio or its surrounding counties. The same situation regarding Tippecanoe County, Indiana.

The Civil War Draft was taken in 1863. He would not of been required to register due to his age.

He is made mention in his father's Will, dated August 1835, and that he was to receive certain lands. This land could of been in either Tippecanoe or White County, Indiana. If it were not for this Last Will and Testament of his father we would of never known that he existed.

There is a listing on Ancestry of a Lorenzo D. Harvey who married in Carroll County, Indiana to a Abigail C. Morris. THIS IS NOT Robert and Henrietta Harvey's son. That man's name was Lorenzo D. Hovey!!! Ancestry made a mistake in translation. The creator of this memorial has viewed the actual document in Carroll County, Indiana. A copy can be provided.
