E. Budd Anderson, 90, of Hugoton, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at his home.

Anderson was born Aug. 27, 1920, at Palisades, Colo., to George Washington and Ella May Wait Anderson.

He was a graduate of Moscow High School and farmed with his father. He joined the then U.S. Army Air Corps in 1942 and was sent to the Pacific Theater during World War II.

He and Sara Lee Ray were married in 1948 and made their home in Hugoton. Anderson retired from Northern Natural Gas Co. in 1983.

Surviving are his wife of Hugoton; three daughters, Marsha Goetting Peterson of Bozeman, Mont., Donna Chamberlain of Custer, S.D, and Debbie Buczinski of Hutchinson; four sisters, Inez Ramey of Gainesville, Fla., Avis Curtis of Moscow, and Fanny Kagarice and Avanell Gaskill, both of Hugoton; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Owen, Deward, Bester, Fred and A.J; and six sisters, Murland Crawford, Marie Buchter, Vella Stoops, Deannie Hall, Agnes Allen and Fern Anderson.

Funeral services was at the First Christian Church of Hugoton
