East Peoria, IL - Betty M. Stoneburner, 90 of East Peoria passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Riverview in East Peoria.
Born May 12, 1926 in East Peoria to Cyril and Eleanor (Grafelman) Feehan; she married Melvon Stoneburner on May 29, 1945 in East Peoria and he preceded her in death March 18, 1997.
Also preceding in death were her two sons, Richard and Dennis; one brother; one sister; and one granddaughter.
Surviving are her children, Brenda (John) Yaunk, Debora Warfield, and Kevin Stoneburner, all of East Peoria, and Diana Null of Morton; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and her sister, Barbara Schempp of Normal.
Betty worked in the cafeteria at Central Jr High School in East Peoria for many years.
She was a member of the former VFW Post #2078 Auxiliary in East Peoria and the VFW Post #3883 Auxiliary in Bartonville, the Cat Retirees Club and many women's bowling leagues in East Peoria. She was also active with the Fondulac Park District Senior Activities group in East Peoria.
Betty enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family. She found great joy in being a grandma and great grandma.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery.
