He was born Oct. 14, 1948, in Peoria, Ill., to Eleanor and Cyril "Zip" Feehan. He married Debra Thompson on April 18, 1971, in East Peoria, Ill.
Surviving are his wife, Debra Feehan; one son, James (Gina) Feehan of Dunlap; one daughter, Ann (Travis) Humphrey of Washington; five grandchildren, Brynna Feehan, Brody Feehan, Trenton Humphrey, Tyler Humphrey and Braelyn Feehan; and two sisters, Barbara Schempp of Normal and Betty Stoneburner of East Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Tammy Feehan; and one sister, Marilyn Berkley.
Jim was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a past member of the East Peoria Jaycees, Illinois Valley Power Squadron and EastPort Boat Club.
He was employed at Caterpillar Inc., after which he owned and operated Arrow Ambulance for many years. He was then employed by the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 649, retiring in November of 2003. Jim enjoyed boating, camping, fishing and vacations in Jamaica.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in East Peoria.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
