Mrs. E.H. Bottorff Taken By Death.

Mrs. Orpha Bottorff, 71, wife of E.H. (Manny) Bottorff passed away at the Bottorff home, five miles northeast of Martinsburg at 10 p.m. evening. Mrs. Bottorff had been ill for the past six months.

Orpha Edyth Hayes, the daughter of Francis and Rebecca Shultz Hayes, was born in Keokuk County, October 11, 1883 With the exception of six years, she lived her entire life in the county of her birth.

On November 12, 1908, she was united in marriage to E.H. Bottorff, who survives, along with five sons, Ralph of Martinsburg, Robert of East Moline, Illinois, Claude of Sigourney, Harry of Ottumwa, Rt. 7, and Warren of Ollie. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Morgan of Hedrick, Estella Belveal of Martinsburg, and Mrs. Cuba Hazlet of Hudson Colorado; and a brother, Dick Hayes of Washington. A granddaughter and two brothers preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Methodist Church in Martinsburg. The Rev. Robert Williams will be in charge of the service. Interment will be made in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, northeast of Martinsburg
