Thomas Allen, 62, of Mt. Carmel Church Road, Campbellsville, son of the late Leroy Allen and Julie Ann Brewer Allen, was born in Taylor County March 30, 1932, and died at 11:31 a.m., Monday, Nov. 7 at his home after an illness.

He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the United States Army and an employee of Marion County Stave Company.
He was married to Aileen Hedgespeth July 13, 1957, who survives.
Besides his wife, Allen is survived by two sons and three daughters and sons-in-law.
He is also survived by two granddaughters and one grandson; two brothers and three sisters; a special nephew; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister, William "Bill" Allen, Paul Edward Allen and Opal Warren.

Funeral was at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 9 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by the Rev. George Ray Gaddie and the Rev. Stoy Oller. Burial was in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
