A sad event took place in our vicinity Easter morning, the death of Mrs. Pernicia Logston. The deceased was born in Ray County, Mo., in the year 1832. She leaves several children and grand-children to mourn her loss. She was 72 years and 6 months of age; she made her home with her unmarried son and daughter. Services were held at her home and conducted by Rev. Hood, of Amoret. The remains were laid to rest in the Trading Post cemetery. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
