HIRAM B. LOGSTON RITES
Funeral services for Hiram B. Logston, 77, local resident who died at 11:55p.m. Thursday as the result of heart trouble, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 in the Konantz chapel with the Rev. W. D. Ferguson, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Interment will be made in the Trading Post cemetery.
The deceased came to Fort Scott in 1885 after having farmed for some time in the Garland community. Up to the time of his retirement, he was employed by the Fort Scott Hydraulic Cement company. The deceased was a member of the Baptist church.
Mr. Logston was married to Rosa Belle Huffman on April 1, 1908, in Fort Scott. His wife preceded him in death in 1930, and a daughter, Mary, died in 1931.
