Obituary

Died Sept. 1, 1905 W. D. Logston of near Trading Post. The deceased was born Sept. 24, 1857 in Andrew Co., Mo. moved with his parents to Daviess, Mo. when just a small boy, was married to Martha Parker 1870.

He leaves his wife and one son, one daughter, one brother and three sisters to mourn his loss, also a host of friends. His son Mr. Alford lives east of Trading Post, his daughter Mrs. Ida Reno lives in Trading Post, his sister Mrs. Ellen Danner and Martha Logston both live in Trading Post, the other sister Mrs. James Calvin lives near Amorett, Mo. and his brother Hiram in Trading Post all which were present at the funeral.

He was layed to rest in the Trading Post cemetery there to wait the reserection morn. The services were conducted by brother Tucker of Green Valley. The deceased had lived in Mo. all his life less the seven years he resided here at Trading Post, Kansas. He was a firm believer in the Bible. We hope to meet him where parting will be no more and where sickness, sorrow and death never comes.
