Alice was the daughter of Joseph Leroy Ferris and Mary Ellen Garven. Mary Ellen was the third wife of Joseph Ferris.

Death Calls Mrs.
Weist At Eldon

Eldon.--Mrs. Alice Ferris Weist, 83, resident of this community for 61 years, died at 10:45 p.m. Thursday at her home here after being seriously ill for two months.

She was married to George W. Weist November 3, 1877, who preceded her in death on 1903.

Survivors include two sons, Harry A. Weist, Eldon, and H. C. Weist, Kansas City, Mo., five daughters, Mrs. Frank Davis and Mrs. Rudolph Steffen, both of Eldon, Mrs. Mabel Gillis, living in Texas, Mrs. Paul Cremer, Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Edward Buttree, Stanford, Conn., seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p. m. Sunday at the Campbell funeral home, conducted by the Rev. E. M. Gregson. Burial will be in Eldon Cemetery.
