James S Donaldson, 74, died at his home on McKinley Drive, Fairfield, Thursday evening at 5:35. He had been in ill health for four years.
He was born in Fairfield and was a son of the late William and Fannie Scott Donaldson.
He had been employed for a number of years as fireman for the Knouse Foods plant at Orrtanna but had retired some time ago.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Alma Kittinger Donaldson; one son, James S. Jr., Fairfield; two grandchildren and seven brothers and sisters; William, Hagerstown; Frank Orrtanna;
Miss C Margaret, Philadelphia; Mrs. H.E. Bucher, Cashtown; Mrs. Clifford Naugle, Gettysburg;
Mrs. Fannie Kittinger, Harrisburg, and Nicholas Donaldson, Gary, Ind.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 at the Wilson Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Donald Almy, Fairfield Lutheran pastor, officiating. Interment will be made in Fairfield Union Cemetery.
