William Flora married Ada E. Chitty Sept. 26, 1886, in Bartholomew Co., Indiana.
William Sherman Flora, 81, died at 12:45 this morning at his home, 520 Second Street. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Hathaway Funeral Home with the Rev. T. K. Smith in charge. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. The casket will be open at the funeral home afternoon Tuesday until time for services.
Mr. Flora was born November 27, 1865 to John and Sara Flora at Hartsville. He had been a farmer and livestock dealer until his heath failed.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Adda Flora, five children, Chester Flora of Columbus, LeRoy Flora of Columbus, Mrs. Kathryn Foeleman of Calendar, Iowa, Ben Flora of Indianapolis and William L. Flora of Hope; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
