Charles Baines, the beloved son of the late Jake Sr. and Maggie Baines, was born on July 5 1950 in Wilson, North Carolina. On Sunday, August 13 2006 at 8:10 at Harbor Hospital Baltimore, Maryland Charles was called home to be with the Lord.
Charles was baptized at an early age at First Baptist Church in Wilson, North Carolina. Charles attended Fairmount Hill Jr.& Sr. High School in Baltimore, City.
Charles worked for Conedison in New York City as an Electrician.Charles then met Griffie Lee Foster and from this union three sons were born. Charles loved music, dancing, and to entertain family and friends. Charles was a loving, kind person, who would do anything to help anyone.
Charles leaves to cherish; Griffie Lee Foster; three sons, Charles Baines,Jr., Chander Baines, Andre Baines; five grandchildren, Charles, Nyasia, Brianna, Cnander Jr., Leann; six stepchildren; three brothers, John, Willie, Chris; four sisters, Virginia, Lillie, Jackie and Helen; one daughter-in law, Beverly and a very special friend Isabel; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friend.
