Olive D. Sheehan, 96, of Montrose, Susquehanna County, formerly of North Catasauqua, died Tuesday in Montrose. She was the wife of the late Joseph Sheehan.
A graduate of the former Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse at Sacred Heart for 30 years.
Born in Noxen, Wyoming County, she was a daughter of the late Augustus J. and Diana (Serfoss) Dienstel.
She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Catasauqua.
There are no immediate survivors.

There is a marriage license for Curtis F Grube and Olive L Dienstel dated May 5, 1929 in Manhattan. They are together on the 1930 census in Easton, PA. He is listed as a laborer and she as a nurse. By 1942, they were no longer together, she is married to Joseph Sheehan. They did not have any children. Ollie lived close to her sister, Etta, they were very close and looked out for each other. When Etta became ill, Ollie cared for until she found a very nice nursing home for care. She was a loyal sister and her brother Edwin spoke highly of her. Prior to her death, Ollie went into a private home and shared a room with another resident.
