Mrs. Rosa Altmix.
Mrs. Rosa Altmix, widow of Steve Altmix, died in her home at 706 North Twentieth street Thursday night shortly after 10 o'clock. Her death followed an illness of two years, suffering a complication of diseases.
Mrs. Altmix, nee Whalen, was born in Quincy on May 5, 1875, and had always lived here, and has many friends who sincerely mourn her death. She was a member of St. Francis church.
Her husband died eight years ago and she is survived by five children, [those] being Mrs. Oscar Weiss, Frank Altmix, Ralph Altmix, Richard Altmix, and Virginia, all of this city. One son died last August. Two grandchildren, Lois and Howard Weiss, survive.
