Arthur Franklin Hensley, 97, Albany, died Sunday in Albany Health Care and Rehabilitation Center after a short illness.
Mr. Hensley had attended Yorktown and Harrison Township schools. He worked at Ball Brothers for 40 years before he retired in 1964, when he also retired from farming in Harrison Township and moved to a farm near Albany.
Survivors include his wife of 78 years, Naomi Stephens Hensley; two sons, Robert Hensley (wife: Joann) and David Hensley (wife: Sharon); two daughters, Ruby E. Ford (husband: Max) and Nila Jean Dragoo; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Meeks Mortuary. Burial in be in Hawk Cemetery, north of Yorktown.
Calling will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Mortuary.
