Edward Baumann, aged 16 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Baumann, died at the home, 949 Twenty-first avenue, Rock Island, this morning. He had been ill three months, suffering first with influenza, which later developed into heart trouble.
Edward was born in Rock Island Sept. 5, 1902, and was graduated from the Rock Island high school last year. Surviving him are the parents, two sisters, Mrs. D. B. Ward of Muscatine and Charlotte, at home, and four brothers, John, William, Carl and Ernest, all of Rock Island. The last mentioned was a twin of Edward.
