William E. "Bill" Sloan, 71, of Vienna,
was born August 27, 1944, near Dixon, in
Pulaski County, a son of Edgar Eldo and
Mabel Viola (Rowden) Sloan, and lost his
battle with cancer on Sunday, June 26, 2016
in his home surrounded by his family and
friends. Bill had attained the
age of 71 years, 9 months, and 29 days.

Bill was united in marriage at Vienna,
on August 22, 2006, to Anna Sue Moon.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Eldo
and Mabel Sloan, and one sister, Nora Ann Maylee.

During his working life, Bill was a truck
driver for Yellow Freight, Kansas City,
and various other companies for thirty
some years prior to his retirement, and
was member of the Teamsters Union.
Bill enjoyed camping, hunting, and being outdoors.

Those left to mourn the passing of Bill include;
His wife Anna Sloan of Vienna;
son Scott Cunningham and daughter-in-law
Pam Wall of Iberia; daughter Cindy Hetrick
and son-in-law Dan Hetrick of Thornton, Colorado;
brother-in-law Bill Maylee of Holts Summit;
sister Lois Prater and brother-in-law Jack Prater of Iberia; brother Larry Sloan and sister-in-law
Orvene Sloan of Crocker;
brother Donald Gene Sloan
and sister-in-law Elaine Sloan of St. Thomas;
sister Janice Hedges and brother-in-law
Ronnie Hedges of Fulton;
Five grandchildren, Jessica Stander,
Monica Cunningham, Dusty Cunningham,
Ashley Hartwell, Xavier Hetrick;
One honorary granddaughter, Holly Becker;
Five great grandchildren Jordan Bess,
Brentley Ladato, Lilly Ladato, Charleigh Cunningham, Caedance Hetrick; numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
