OBITUARY
Curtis B. Wilson, 74 year old lifetime resident of Choctaw County, died Friday in the Veterans Administration Hospital at Bonham, Tex. He was a World War I United States Navy veteran.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Bill Golden, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, officiating in Lampton-Mills Funeral Home chapel. Burial was made in Memory Lane in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Curtis Wilson was born April 24, 1899, in Indian Territory's Choctaw Nation. He was a son of John Wilson and Florence (Turnbull) Wilson, both descendants of families influential in the early day development of the Choctaw Nation. He was a Baptist.

Survivors are one brother, W.E. Wilson, of Ft. Towson; and three sisters, Miss Vivian Wilson, of Hugo; Mrs. Bennie Bates, of Valliant; and Mrs. Hattie Montgomery, of Muskogee.
