Anna Arizona Stubblefield died Saturday at her home in Clayton at the age of 78 years, 5 months and 16 days. Funeral services were held today followed by interment in Clayton Cemetery. She was born on November 28, 1873 in Berryville, Arkansas to Elijah Alexander and Carolyn (Qualls) Littrell. She was a homemaker. She married Rease Stubblefield on July 28, 1896 in Raton and they were the parents of three children: Clayburn Rease, Ernest Robert and Irene. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her infant son, Ernest Robert Stubblefield; and her brother, Hiram Riley Littrell. She is survived by her daughter, Irene Rainwater of Clayton; her son, Clayburn Rease Stubblefield of Clayton; her sister, Amanda Hughes of Santa Cruz, California; her half sister, Florence Ethel Chadwick of Raton; and her half brothers, Donald Bennett Littrell of Chicago, Illinois, Earl Knox Littrell of Coos Bay, Oregon, Elijah Alexander Littrell, Jr. of Medford, Oregon, and Isaac Phillips Littrell of Alameda, California.
