Died from pneumonia at her home 714 Cleveland Ave.

Daughter of James and Jane Elliott Boyles.

Married J. Edward Connell on May 12, 1864 at Leesburg, Mercer County. He passed away in 1892.

Devoted member of the Central Presbyterian church and was active in the Women's Missionary Society and Ladies aid as long as health permitted.

Was engaged in nursing for a number of years.

Survived by three children: Rev. Charles E. Connell, of Fullerton, Nebr. J. E. P. and Myrtle Connell, both of New Castle; two brothers and two sisters, J. M. Boyles, Mrs. Sarah A. Taylor and William B. Boyles, all of New Castle and Mrs. Lizzie G. Taylor of Ashmore, S. D.
