Devoted member of the Central Presbyterian church and was active in the Women's Missionary Society and Ladies aid as long as health permitted.
Was engaged in nursing for a number of years.
Survived by three children: Rev. Charles E. Connell, of Fullerton, Nebr. J. E. P. and Myrtle Connell, both of New Castle; two brothers and two sisters, J. M. Boyles, Mrs. Sarah A. Taylor and William B. Boyles, all of New Castle and Mrs. Lizzie G. Taylor of Ashmore, S. D.
