Former San Angelo Man dropped Dead at Dinner Table Saturday

SWEETWATER- Oct. 3 - James J. Coffee, 46, formerly of San Angelo and member of a pioneer family in Nolan County, dropped dead at the dinner table at the home of his mother, Mrs. M. J. Boyd in the Pkum Creek community Saturday noon. Mr. Coffee was recovering from an illness which had kept him in the hospital here for some time.

Surviving are his widow, his mother, a brother Eli (Bud) Coffee of San Angelo; two sisters, Mrs. D. Rounsaville of Paris, and Mrs. Clarence Rasberry of Sweetwater; four half brothers, George and Elmer Boyd of Sweetwater, Edward and John Boyd of Mertzon; and three half sisters, Mrs. Marvin Chitwood and Mrs. Nick Williams of Christoval and Mrs. Gerald Witt of Sweetwater.

Burial is to be at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Plum Creek Cemetery.
