Dora G. Fisher, 101, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016 in Moravian King’s Daughters Home. She was the wife of the late Karl Q. Fisher, who died in 2009.
Born in Thurmont, MD, she was the last of ten children of the late Harry and May (Flohr) Flohr. Dora was a graduate of Thurmont High School. Prior to children, she worked as a phone operator for 8 years at the Potomac Edison Phone Company and later as a unit clerk at Muhlenberg Hospital for 11 years, retiring in 1977. Dora was a member at Ebenezer Bible Fellowship in Bethlehem Township.
Survivors: Daugher, Kristie Myers and her husband Harvey of Bethlehem; sons, Garland Fisher and his wife Linda of Douglasville and David Q. Fisher and his wife Marcia of Walls, MS; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Dora was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Sullivan Farrar.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Ebenezer Bible Fellowship, 3100 Hecktown Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020. Calling hours will be held from 6-8 PM Friday evening in The Long Funeral Home, Inc., 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 and from 10:30-11:30 AM Saturday morning in the church. Internment will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.
