Mrs. Alice K. V. Kennedy, 94, former Hope teacher, died today at the Indiana Masonic Hospital in Franklin where she had been a patient the past four years. She was a resident of the Hope community.

Born in Hope, March 29, 1872, she was the daughter of Lewis A. and Roseltha Lee Vogler. On April 5, 1899, she was married to William P. Kennedy, who died in 1946. Mrs. Kennedy was a member of the Hope Moravian Church and the Violet Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star at Liberty. She was also past Worthy Grand Matron of the Indiana Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Arda Homsher of Franklin; a brother, L. Marshall Vogler of Hope, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday at the Norman Funeral Home at Hope, conducted by the Rev. Charles Eichman. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery. Persons may call after 2 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
