Arnda Alexander Woody died Wednesday, June 3, at Hardin County General Hospital at the age of 89. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of Chesley and Laura Owens Alexander. Mrs. Woody was a homemaker, a member of the Senior Citizens and RSVP, a Hardin County General Hospital Volunteer Lady, and a member of Savannah Church of Christ. She was married to Charles E. Woody, and she worked at Brown Shoe Company for 15 years.Services were Friday, June 5, at 1 p.m. in Shackelford Chapel with Jim Chamblee officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens of Hardin County. Other than her husband, Charles E. Woody of Savannah, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Berlyne A. Duke of Savannah and Mrs. Norma Northcutt of Calvert City, Ky.; and a brother, Gordie Alexander of Savannah.
