Mrs. W.W. White
While about her household work Tuesday evening, January 8, 1924, Mrs. White was taken with a sudden attack of heart trouble about six o'clock and died before help could be called. It was a sudden shock to the community, and most deeply felt.
Roseanna Antene was born August 18, 1884, at Ada, Kansas. She was united in marriage to Wilber W. White December 30, 1912, at Delphos, Kansas. To this union were born two children, Wilber Wellington age seven years, and Laurilla Rose age four years. Her early life was spent on a farm near Ada, where her father and mother still reside. She moved with her husband to Oketo, Kansas, in July 1915.
During her life here she has made a host of friends. She was a member of Red Rose chapter of the Eastern Star, and of the Royal Neighbor lodge and a very active worker in all social and community life where she will be greatly missed.
Rose died January 8, 1924, at 6:00 P.M. She leaves besides her husband and two children seven sisters, four brothers, a father and mother and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her loss.
Short services were held at the residence at 8:30 Thursday morning, after which the remains were taken to Delphos, Kansas, for burial.
