Earl Lee, who was born in 1889 on the farm southwest of Fremont now occupied by Jake Grootveld, died at his home in Des Moines, Sunday morning of heart trouble. Earl spent his early life here, attended the local school and worked for a time at the Jackson store.
He is survived by his widow and one daughter, Elsie, one sister, Mrs. J. C. Newell, and three brothers, Chester E. Lee, Des Moines, A. B. Lee of Carthage, S. Dak. and A. N. Lee of Fremont.
