Funeral will be held Friday for John M. Titus, 986 Christy Road, Hermitage, formerly of South Pymatuning Township, who died at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday (7-16-80) in Shenango Valley Osteopathic Hospital, Farrell, where he was a patient three weeks following an extended illness. He was 95. Mr. Titus was born in Hickory Township March 19, 1885, to James and Margaret Wilson Titus. A retired foreman he had been employed in the open hearth department of Sharon Steel Corp. He was a member of Sharpsville Free and Accepted Masons, Lodge 517 and a member of the Scottish Rite Cathedral, New Castle.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Babe) Baker, Sharon; two sons, J. Lloyd, Hermitage and Frank Clair, Sharpsville; a sister, Mrs. Florence Offutt, Hermitage; 13 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. A son, Francis, died in February 1979. Four sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
