Mrs. Margaret Titus age 66 years died this morning at 7:30 o'clock at her home in Hermitage, following an extended illness with a complication of diseases. She was a well and favorably known in Sharon and her death has occasioned sincere sorrow. She was born in Canada on January 1, 1856, the daughter of Thomas and Janet (Lardlow) Wilson. She came to Mercer County 50 years ago when her parents settled in Hickory Township. She married James Titus, who died two year ago. Surviving are five daughters; Mrs. Frank Lary, Mrs. Frank Jones, and Mrs. Thomas Bailey all of Sharon; Mrs. George Rettig of Cleveland; and Mrs. Floyd Offutt of Leesburg; two sons, Barton Titus of Orangeville an John Titus of Sharpsville; two sisters, Mrs. John Rockwell of Sharpsville and Mrs. Elizabeth Smith of Minnesota; and four brothers, Robert Wilson of Vancouver; William Wilson of Fort Francis, Canada and Alfred Wilson and Fred Wilson, both of Sharon. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the home with internment in Morefield Cemetery. Rev. H. E. Phipps will officiate. {herald}
